United have progressed to the semi-finals of the Federation Cup
following their victories on Wednesday, but defending champions of
the women’s title, Rivers Angels, failed to progress.
Lobi Stars and Akwa United had tough times with their non-league
opponents but both scaled through, while Enugu Rangers and
Nasarawa United defeated fellow NPFL sides, El Kanemi Warriors
and IfeanyiUbah, to progress.
