Complete Sports reports that the match included
the likes of Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, Clarence
Seedorf, Fabian Barthez, Gianluca Zambrotta,
David Trezeguet, Kurt Zouma and Pierre-
Emerick Aubameyang, who curled in an effort as
his star-studded side defeated Saint-Etienne
9-7 at the at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on
Monday night.
Like many charity friendly matches defending
was at a premium, but goals were certainly not
as the match at the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium
reached double figures.

One of the goals of the game came from the
former AC Milan star Clarence Seedorf who
earned his name on the score sheet with a
sublime chip.
The former French international David Trezeguet
also played and scored in the match, but it was
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who shone the
brightest as he grabbed a hat-trick during his
side’s 9-7 defeat.
Okocha was known during his playing days for
his flamboyant style of play. He played for Bolton
Wanderers and Hull city in the English league,
PSG in France, and Galatasary in the Turkish
league.
A few weeks ago the Arsenal manager, Arsene
Wenger, hailed the former midfielder, saying he
was one of the best players in the Premier
League during his time at Bolton Wanderers. The
manager also admitted regret at not signing the
midfielder.
